I use xp and also have a photo package from my kodak digital camera and am not able to see where I can locate the properties to resize the photos ( to help my memory issue ) and also am not sure what is the best size . Btw a memory stick for my pc is 180.00 so you see why I am trying to downsize first

what model kodak>?
I’ve tried saving disk space by resizing photos but that’s usually a permanent change. If you want to print them, the quality suffers.
If you don’t already have a built-in CD burner, it might be a good investment to get one and store your photos on CD. Each CD holds slightly less than 700MB. An average photo is right around 1MB so you can save almost 700 photos per CD, in original size. Then you can completely erase them from your hard drive.
Just something to consider.
There is a difference between memory and storage space on your hard drive. The photos in your computer are stored on you hard drive. This doesn’t affect your memory, or ram. Are you short of space on your hard drive or are you short of ram? You need to know what to deal with. Re-sizing the photos on your hard drive won’t help a ram problem. You might be able to get more ram cheaper from eBay or someplace. Ask some of your friends.
