Would this hurt memory foam?

I bought this bed that is memory foam, and it came in a bag. I laid on it before it raised up completely. Would that hurt it?

It should not do any damage, the main thing memory foam does is spring back. They use this as a selling point, “the bed doesn’t sag after continued use”. One of the things I noticed with memory foam beds is that you should put a thick padded bed cover on it before putting the sheets on. The foam can make you feel as though your sweating.
